A Little Bit of Expert External Help Can Be Priceless
I see this a lot. You have a really sharp business owner who's really good at what they do. They have expertise outside their immediate area of specialization. Then instead of relying on an expert to do this other thing, they do it themselves.
It can be done successfully, but are they getting the expert results they need and did the time it took to get that work done justified. It isn't something they do every day, so it's likely going to be trial and error meaning inefficient and possibly less effectively than it would have been otherwise.
This is part 2 of my "What I Learned in Madrid About Marketing" where I talk about getting outside help when you need it. "Penny wise, pound foolish" is what you want to avoid. When you provide expert services you time is so valuable that mistakes like are more painful.
Watch my example and gain some valuable insight.
