I’m Replacing My Keap/Infusionsoft With High Level. Here’s Why.
I'm a long time Keap/Infusionsoft user. My account dates back to December 2010. I found the tool and saw it as a best-in-breed marketing automation tool.
In 2014 I launched my then side gig fulltime and with a focus on working with Keap users with online course and membership site needs. Keap was the tool to beat. The demand for online course and membership sites was strong. I've done well with that.
Last year, at the recommendation of a colleague, I took a look at HighLevel (HL). I wasn't expecting much. I was a really put off by my initial inspection. The HL Facebook groups were filled with spammer and fanatical types over hyping it.
When I did sit down with a free trial, I was impressed to the point that I'm in the process of replacing my 15+ years on Keap with HL. I'm now a partner / reseller. (I'm happy to get you a free trial to check it out.)
We still service Keap and ActiveCampaign users and their online courses, but I want to explain what I found that drove me to make such a drastic shift.
- HL gets me the marketing automation features I've gotten from Keap. The tools work differently, but I'm getting what I have with Keap. It's all good there.
- Email and SMS / Texting services. As I just mentioned, it has features for building all sorts of automations for interact with anyone checking out your business or doing business with you. Their pricing for this is very attractive. More on that at the end of the article.
- Voicemail. I didn't expect this feature. I've now got this transcribing incoming voicemails to my phone. This integrates well with the automation. HL allows you to respond to anyone leaving a message using automated texting.
- Social media posting and scheduling. This fully replaces tools like Hootsuite. I now use it for all my social media posting.
- Calendaring. Toss out Calendly, AppointmentCore or whatever other tool you use for scheduling time with prospects and customers. It integrates well with Zoom and its easy to schedule meetings right from their phone app.
- Live chat. While I was writing this, a live chat came in from a potential customers. They wanted help with LearnDash. That feature already paid for itself.
- Integration with Google My Business. I didn't know this was a thing, but you can have people visiting your profile text you just as easily as they can call you. Instead of ordering your pizza via phone call, you can order it via text.
- Sales pipeline and opportunity management. I really like this feature. I'm using it to manage my sales pipeline. Very useful and feature rich.
- Membership and online course features. Online courses and membership are our specialty. Their course platform is decent. It's definitely one to consider and it's included in the price. No extra fees here.
- HL mobile app. This is one thing I really like about HL. Their app is a great place to keep track of all that's happening. Like I mentioned earlier, I have configured live chat so I get notified right on my phone through their app. That's where I interact with anyone using the chat feature. Very easy to use. Email, SMS, pipeline/ opportunities, and payments are all there.
- E-Commerce. This integrates nicely with Stripe for taking payments and that works really well with their automation.
- Reputation management. You can get feedback from users and have that appear on your website, and other places, with very little effort. It's a setup and forget configuration that works really nicely.
What impressed me most is you can get all this I mention here and some more feature for $97 a month. You do pay for using email and SMS. I did the math and I can replace the 200,000 email I send out monthly for under $25 a month. The SMS usage is reasonably priced too.
If you want more information, or a HighLevel free trial, call me at +1.786.526.0028 or via my websites. All these ways I have for you to reach me are now all HL powered. I'm happy to discuss how this can work for you like it has for me.
Cheers.
